Salary: $82,000 - 93,500 per year Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• 5+ years of Lead/Developer experience in AS400 and Synon
• Strong Synon coding skills
• Experience in the RxCLAIM application (Adjudication) is strongly preferred
• Ability to read COBOL/400 code for analysis and debugging
• Knowledge of CLLE, CL/400, SQL/400, and QUERY/400 required

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and development of applications using AS/400 RPG, AS400/COBOL, Synon, and CLP
• Oversee the implementation of system enhancements and new applications to meet business needs
• Provide technical expertise in the Medicare and Medicaid claims, claims, and payer domains
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems
• Implement enhancements following Software Development methodologies including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, installation, and post-implementation monitoring
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical processes and systems
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Manage and mentor junior developers to enhance their technical skills and project contributions

We are Cognizant, looking for an AS400/Synon/Rxclaim Developer to join our team and help us develop customized products for our clients. This role involves the development of the Rxclaim pricing module, testing and designing functionality, and coordinating with multiple teams. Familiarity with the Rx Claim will be preferred.

Currently, this position is remote and based in Phoenix, AZ. The compensation for this position ranges from $82,000 to $93,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for our discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance, subject to the terms of our applicable plans.
