CAD Drafter - $5000 Signing Bonus

Munson Boats is seeking a full time CAD Drafter to join our team in designing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high speed patrol boats, USCG certified passenger boats and more. Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required. Experience in Rhino3D and SolidWorks is a plus.

This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts), allowing for a great work-life balance with a three day weekend every week.

As a CAD Drafter, you will join a crew of 4 persons who are responsible for designing highly customized aluminum vessels under the direction of a lead supervisor. We have a backlog of over two years of projects sold, offering stability and consistent year-round work for our team. All vessel designs and CNC router cutting is done in-house with years of geometry and standardization practices. We operate a clean, safe and well organized work environment.

For experienced CAD Drafters looking to transition from a comparable shop, we are prepared to offer a $5000 signing bonus to make the move even more worthwhile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality AutoCAD design work for all CNC cut parts needed for production
• Customize/modify pre-engineered designs & parts to meet client specifications
• Read and interpret supplier schematics and technical drawings and integrate various

systems into the vessel design

• Follow established Munson standards for all parts and designs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Work efficiently within a 4 person team under direction of a lead supervisor
