Position: CDLA Dedicated Company Driver

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDLA Dedicated Company Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic excellent driving record and a commitment to safety.

• Home every week
• Most routes will start Friday or Saturday
• Driver will be home during the week depending on the route
• Drivers will be rotating routes
• Run from Irving TX Indianapolis IN Brampton ON Long Beach CA. & Alberta CN
• Most deliveries will be dock customer unload but some will be pallet jack to rear of trailer with customer unload
• Some drop & hook but most live customer unload
• Product is chemicals in totes and drums (palletized) drivers will be required to have HazMat Tanker and a valid passport.

Responsibilities:

• Open/Close Trailer Doors force requirement: 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailer force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
• Perform pretrip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level

Requirements:

• Must live within a 100mile radius
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable tractortrailer experience in the past 3 years including 6 months of OTR experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker
• Must have a passport or be able to apply for passport within 30 days of hire and obtain within 120 days of hire date
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater following too close improper passing traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
