Job Description

Main Responsibilities of a Cleaner:

• Keep buildings in a clean condition
• Perform all heavy-duty cleaning
• Perform regular maintenance activities
• Organize inventory
• Engage in repair activities when needed

Cleaner Description:

We are looking for an experienced cleaner to fill a vital spot on our team. We are hoping to find a reliable and skilled person to work unsupervised and complete regular daily/weekly tasks along with tasks assigned by the manager.

The cleaner will be able to prioritize tasks, and poses both a proactive and reactive mindset. We like to keep our environment tidy and well-organized, we expect the cleaner to take complete responsibility for helping us achieve this. Please note that this position only works early morning shifts starting at 5:00 a.m.

Responsibilities of a Cleaner:

• Cleaning building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
• Cleaner should be able to lift 50#s
• Gathering and emptying indoor trash
• Clean, service and resupply restrooms
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Two days per week the cleaner will put away the deliveries from our distributor, rotating and organizing inventory
• Attentive to building security and safety activities
• Moving equipment, supplies, and furniture
• Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
• Maintaining tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties

Cleaner Job Requirements:

• Must have proven working experience as Cleaner
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures
• Must be able to respond and act quickly
• Must have strong communication and multitasking skills
• Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
