Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Complete projects on time and within budget, while ensuring that roofing teams work in safe conditions
• Work closely with the Production Manager and Superintendents on each project
• Responsible for planning and controlling every stage of roofing installations or repairs on commercial properties for multiple concurrent projects
• Projects are located throughout Baltimore and surrounding areas; must be willing to visit multiple sites
• Projects include retail facilities, schools, hotels, office complexes, strip malls and free standing buildings
• Determine materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules
• Supervise teams and inspect the quality of work to ensure standards are met
• Ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines
• Prepare and deliver reports detailing the progress of all roofing work
• Manage and keep job status up to date at all times
• Keep schedule up to date, forecast coming up on a monthly basis and keep track of crew locations
• Be the main source of contact both internal and external
• May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least two years of experience working on commercial projects
• Demonstrated effective supervisory skills and have the ability to motivate and direct actions of others
• Critical skills including planning, organizing and problem identification and resolution
• Strong attention to detail and experience working with Microsoft Office products
• Possess experience in project costing and planning
• Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not a requirement
