Position Overview

Are you a natural on camera with a magnetic personality and a passion for storytelling? MICROJIG is seeking a Woodworking Content Creator Extraordinaire who can engage, educate, and entertain our audience while embodying the spirit of our brand. We’re looking for someone who loves the spotlight, has a knack for creating compelling content, and is ready to become the face of MICROJIG.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Ambassador: Be the face of MICROJIG, connecting with our audience through engaging and authentic on-camera content.
• Creative Storytelling: Use your charisma and humor to craft stories that captivate and resonate with our community.
• High-Quality Production: Produce, edit, and deliver polished content that showcases our products and reflects our brand’s personality.
• Project Documentation: Regularly build and document woodworking projects using MICROJIG products, creating educational and inspiring content.
• Social Media Engagement: Leverage your personality to boost our presence across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, driving engagement and brand awareness.
• Collaborative Ideation: Work closely with our marketing and product teams to develop innovative content ideas that align with our mission.
• Content Creation: Consistently generate fun and educational content that keeps our audience informed and entertained.

Qualifications

• On-Camera Talent: A natural in front of the camera with a strong, charismatic presence.
• Storytelling: Passion for storytelling with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience.
• Content Creation Experience: Proven experience creating video content, ideally within the woodworking or related industry.
• Humor and Creativity: A good sense of humor and creative flair to make content that stands out.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in video production, editing, and familiarity with woodworking tools (table saw, router table, jointer, and bandsaw).
• Brand Alignment: Enthusiasm for woodworking and alignment with MICROJIG’s mission and values.
• Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while collaborating with a global team.

• Content Creation: Develop woodworking projects, write instructional content, and contribute to a content library.
• Media Integration: Collaborate with various teams to deliver a cohesive brand message across all platforms.
• Industry Engagement: Engage with top influencers and represent MICROJIG at tradeshows and demos.
• R&D Collaboration: Contribute to product ideation and early-stage prototyping, bringing new ideas to life.
