Job Title: Contract Recruiter
Job Overview:We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Contract Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts across a variety of roles, ranging from entry-level production to technical and professional positions. This hybrid (Philadelphia-based) temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact on workforce development in the manufacturing sector. Candidates must be local to the area and open to working onsite as needed.
Compensation:- $50 – $55/hour, depending on experience
Work Schedule:- Monday through Friday
- Normal business hours
- Hybrid role (must be local and available for occasional onsite work)
Key Responsibilities of the Contract Recruiter:- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from intake meetings through onboarding
- Source candidates using a variety of tools including job boards, social media, networking, industry events, and staffing partners
- Oversee applicant tracking system (ATS) functions and maintain accurate candidate records
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and schedule in-person interviews
- Collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate fit, skills, and experience
- Extend offers and guide candidates through the hiring process
- Create and post job descriptions that attract high-quality candidates
- Represent the company at job fairs and community hiring events
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through educational and community partnerships
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with employment laws and company policies
Qualifications and Skills for the Contract Recruiter:- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, construction, or technical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment regulations
