Responsibilities:
• Under broad direction, this position is responsible for corporate domestic and international entity management and strategic planning, sustainability reporting for domestic and international entities, and treasury and corporate finance departmental support
• Acts as a company advocate and advisor with respect to legal matters, provides guidance concerning legal right, obligations, and risk management, and recommends best practices and courses of action related to legal issues, strategic corporate planning, corporate finance, and sustainability reporting
• Researches the intent of laws and judicial decisions and applies them to specific circumstances as applicable to company business.
• Must adhere to a strict code of ethics.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• In the US, a Juris Doctor (JD) in law is required.
• 4-9 years of experience with corporate law, including corporate structure planning, sustainability reporting, and treasury support function
• Must be licensed to practice law in applicable areas.
Candidates who possess qualifications exceeding the minimum job requirements will be considered for higher-level positions based on their experience, additional job requirements, and current business needs. Depending on their education, experience, and skill level, candidates may be eligible for a range of job opportunities, including positions ranging from Counsel to Senior Counsel.
