Position : Creative Strategist & Illustrator

Working Schedule : 8a-5p EST

Salary Range :$2,000-$2,500 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

 

Overview:

We are seeking a Creative Strategist & Illustrator to help shape the visual identity of our brand. Our company aims to help people close the gap between who they are and who they want to become. As our Creative Strategist & Illustrator, you’ll help shape a timeless, universal visual language that brings the company universe to life across web, mobile, print, and physical products. You’ll help communicate abstract concepts, support emotional storytelling, and co-create a metaphor-rich design system. 

Key Responsibilities:

Illustration, Graphic Design & Visual Storytelling

• Create a cohesive system of icons, illustrations, textures, and other visuals for use across digital and physical media.
• Develop visual concepts grounded in world-building, emotional storytelling, and symbolic motifs. 
• Embrace natural, imperfect, timeless aesthetics (e.g. gradients, watercolor, curved lines) to evoke authenticity, timelessness, and universal appeal.

Design Systems & Brand Cohesion

• Build cohesive, scalable, reusable visual systems (icons, assets, symbols) that feel both unique and timeless and can be used across a variety of mediums, both digital and print. 
• Maintain aesthetic and narrative coherence across platforms, while allowing room for individual expression.
• Prioritize "show, don’t tell" design—offering enough for clarity, while leaving room for interpretation and meaning to echo back from the audience.
• Use intentionality and restraint in storytelling, creating space for audience interpretation and emotional resonance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with co-founders, Erin and Anthony, to refine concepts through fast, iterative feedback loops (via calls, text, or email).
• Translate our complex, word heavy philosophical ideas into clear, accessible visual storytelling.

Primary Tools Used:

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe InDesign

• Procreate or similar digital illustration software
  
   

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of direct and proven experience. 

• Strong illustration and design skills with a proven portfolio.

• Experience with digital illustration tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, InDesign).

• Ability to translate abstract concepts into detailed visual designs.

• Excellent communication skills and client presentation experience.
  
   

Additional Requirements:

• Portfolio submission is mandatory for client presentations and hiring consideration.
