Skills and Competencies

  • Cyber Risk Modeling Expertise: Deep working knowledge of cyber risk modeling and the cyber insurance market.

  • Client Engagement: Exceptional communication, presentation, and written skills with the ability to engage with clients and prospects effectively.

  • Product Management Proficiency: Proven experience in product management, particularly in overseeing cyber modeling solutions.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple engineering and field groups.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, able to manage time effectively, and accept a degree of ambiguity.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's or higher degree in natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, data science, or information systems.

Responsibilities

This roles core purpose is to oversee current and future cyber modeling solutions to support the development agenda and commercial success of Moody’s cyber risk modeling solutions.

The major responsibilities will include;

Risk Management Needs:

  • Understand risk management needs of the cyber risk insurance market.

  • Discover and prioritize market requirements by engaging directly with clients to understand their business objectives.

    Roadmap Creation:
  • Create and manage the ongoing roadmap for cyber models.

    Client Engagement:
  • Represent Moody’s as a cyber risk domain specialist to engage in client discussions and deliver compelling value-based presentations and demonstrations to both senior and practitioner-level audiences.

  • Present to and engage in technical discussions with Moody's clients and prospects regarding model features, methodology, and usage of cyber models and data.

  • Problem solves to develop solutions to client inquiries that require subject matter expertise.

    Sales Support:
  • Enable the sales team, support the sales cycle, and educate other colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with various other groups including marketing, consulting, support, and documentation teams.

  • Advocacy and Evangelism:

  • Present on and evangelize for cyber models at conferences and events.

  • Provide thought leadership and serve as a leading voice of Moody’s on the topic of cyber risk modeling

  • Advocate for product management best practices and product improvements.

    Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with remote and local teams to deliver solutions and support clients.

About the Team

Our Model Product Management team within the Moody's Insurance Business Unit is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of cyber risk modeling solutions. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $169,800.00 - $246,150.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
