• Consistent Writing - Must be able to write and complete editorial content on a daily cadence and be able to deliver on time
• Mobile App / Gaming Industry Experience - Have knowledge on popular mobile apps and games and understand basic terminologies of mobile app industry
• Strong Communication - Need to communicate clearly with team members on project tracking and any changes in delivery schedule

As an editorial writer at Galaxy Store, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling content for our store's Discover tab and other tabs. Your primary responsibility will be to research, write, and edit articles that adheres to our brand voice and tone, while aligning with our partners'. You'll work closely with the operations team and product team to ensure consistency across all communications. Additionally, you'll collaborate with in-house designers and partners to produce a visually appealing and engaging content experience.

To succeed in this position, you should possess writing and editing skills, an eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities. You should also have a passion for storytelling and staying up to date with the latest mobile app / game industry trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on assigned apps and/or games to gather accurate and relevant information.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy that aligns with the brand voice and messaging.
• Edit and proofread articles for grammar, spelling, and style accuracy.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to create visually appealing and engaging content experiences.
• Meet deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Stay up to date with mobile app / game industry trends and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the editorial content

Skills

• Possess exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to craft compelling and informative copy that resonates with target audiences.
  
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring all content is free from grammatical errors, inconsistencies, and typos.
• Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, meeting deadlines and effectively prioritizing multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using project management systems, such as AirTable and Confluence.
• Be able to navigate ambiguity and discover creative ways to continue writing and publishing content despite potential challenges. 

Experience and Education

• 2-5 years of experience in an editorial writer or marketing writer role
• Advanced degree in English or marketing or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of editorial style guides
