Position: Emergency Room ER Registered Nurse RN
Employment Type: Full- Time, Nights
Location: Yonkers, NY
Salary: $50.00 - 62.00 per hour 

The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our Hospital Client to hire a critical-thinking  Registered Nurse for their fast-paced, brand-new  Emergency Department. 

As an  Emergency Department Nurse , you play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in emergency situations. Your quick thinking, clinical expertise, and ability to remain composed under pressure are essential for delivering efficient and effective care in a fast-paced and often high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients presenting with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, injuries, and emergencies.
• Prioritize patients based on the urgency of their medical needs, ensuring that those in critical condition receive immediate attention.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and guidelines. Provide interventions such as IV therapy, wound care, and CPR when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, ensuring that information is conveyed clearly, compassionately, and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing, BSN
• Registered Nurse in State of New York
• 1 year RN experience in emergency medicine, trauma center
