**Job Summary and Responsibilities** **Are you a Registered Nurse looking for flexible, PRN work with the opportunity to expand your skills?** **Join our dynamic Endoscopy team at CHI Health Good Samaritan!** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN/On-Call basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. **What You'll Do:** As a PRN Endoscopy RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. You will be responsible for: + Assessing patients pre-procedure, including reviewing medical history, medications, and allergies. + Preparing patients for procedures, including IV insertion and patient education. + Monitoring patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. + Providing post-procedure care, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and providing discharge instructions. + Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. + Maintaining accurate and complete patient records. + Responding to emergency situations as needed. **Job Requirements** RN license required BLS through the American Heart Association required ACLS withink 5 months **Where You'll Work** Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you'll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility. **Pay Range** $36.00 - $52.20 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
