Falcons Football Summer Camps Coach: 2023-3143

Atlanta Falcons Football Summer Camp is five days of football instruction and competition within our custom-built curriculum for all children ages 5-13. We are looking for football coaches who attack each day with enthusiasm for the sport and the opportunity to inspire youth players, unlocking their personal best. These coaches possess the ability to communicate and connect with a variety of ages, interests, and skill levels while approaching each day’s unique challenges with energy, patience, and a sense of humor. We provide the training, football curriculum & daily camp schedules along with all equipment for a successful camp day but need you to bring camp to life with your enthusiasm, dedication and un-matched energy.

  • Mentor, coach and guide a team of campers through pre-written football curriculum and game play, fostering a respectful and positive atmosphere, while engaging campers throughout the day with high energy, integrity and passion.
  • Nurture physical, social & emotional safety of all campers by consistently implementing all camp protocols, forming connections with each camper within your group and fostering a supportive team environment for all campers on your team.
  • Represent the Falcons professionally and respectfully throughout all facets of your day to campers, parents, site and facility partners and any guests you encounter while on the clock and in uniform.
  • Be a loyal, dedicated and responsible team member who consistently shows up on time and ready to work for the campers and the rest of your team .
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by camp leadership.
  • Experience playing and/or coaching football (2 years at a competitive level – high school, college and beyond - viewed favorably).
  • Experience working with children in a camp, school or sport setting (2 years preferred ).
  • Passionate about football and making a positive impact in the lives of children, families, and coaches.
  • Committed to the camp mission, top-notch program quality, the rest of your team, and our campers and their families.
  • Diligent, reliable and willing to learn.
  • Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, to walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt-covered fields, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment.
  • Committed to adhering to the Falcons Summer Camp Cell-Phone Free policy, powering down, and putting away cell phones for the duration of your shift.
  • Work in football, being active and outdoors all summer in and around Atlanta
  • A mid-season complementary catered lunch for all staff on-site.
  • Ability to earn mid and end of season awards.

  • Camp Dates & Locations : June 3rd – July 19th, no camp the week of July 1st

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00 am-3:30 pm 
  • Compensation :
    • Assistant Coaches:
      • $9.00/hour - $11.00/hour.
    • Coaches: $12.00 / hour.
  • Extended Employment Opportunities: PM Aftercare Coach Monday - Friday until 6:00 pm (any overtime worked paid at 1.5x agreed upon hourly wage).
