Dune Dwellings is a vacation rental company with 40+ properties across Michigan City and Valparaiso, IN, as well as Port Charlotte, FL. Our homes are listed on platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and our own website, dunedwellings.com. We pride ourselves on keeping our properties well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for our guests—and we know that having a reliable handyman is key to making that happen.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Handyman to support our homes in Michigan City and Valparaiso. This role is best suited for someone who can take on small but regular handyman jobs on an ongoing basis and who can handle repairs independently without needing step-by-step instruction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine home repairs and maintenance (e.g., touch-ups, fixing minor damages, small handyman tasks).
• Conduct inspections to spot and address issues before they become bigger problems.
• Respond promptly to repair and maintenance needs as they come up.
• Ensure all work is done safely and meets basic standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently using available resources.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Clear communication with our Guest Services Team about timelines and updates.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between properties.
