POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Housekeeping Manager at Sanders Beach Rentals, you'll lead our housekeeping operations with a hands-on, disciplined approach that ensures seamless transitions between guests at every property.

This key role involves managing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, upholding our gold-star standards of cleanliness, and aligning with our company policies and protocols. You will also work in properties alongside inspectors and housekeepers making sure homes are ready for owner arrivals, prepped for marketing events and photos. When necessary, you will also be responsible for inspecting properties for guest arrivals and correcting any cleanliness issues.

Some time is spent in the office, but you’ll have the opportunity to get out from behind the desk and work hands on in the properties with your team. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, you will collaborate with various departments to maintain our properties' pristine condition and assist with administrative duties like scheduling as well as training team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, manage, and oversee daily housekeeping activities, including property inspections and cleaning for guest arrivals.
  • Actively participate in cleaning tasks as needed to support the team and maintain service quality. 
  • Train, evaluate, and counsel staff aligning with company policies; maintain employee attendance and performance records.
  • Oversee the guest amenities program, linen inventory and manage housekeeping fleet records.
  • Coordinate with the laundry company for pickups and deliveries.
  • Assist the Director of Housekeeping in creating and scheduling housekeeping assignments, ensuring timely service completion.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to update staff and ensure effective communication for smooth service delivery.
  • Identify and resolve issues, maintaining quality control and confidentiality with both internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisor position
  • 2 years experience in short-term rental property management housekeeping (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office operating software
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift up to 40 lbs while working
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Wage: $55,000 annually plus benefits and bonus potential.
