We are seeking an entry-level data analyst who should be self-directed and will utilize their passion for data analysis to provide insights to the business, covering a range of topics.

Position : Junior Data Analyst

Hire Type : Fulltime on W2

Location : Buffalo, NY (Onsite)

Compensation : $75,000-$80,000 (Negotiable)

Work Authorization : Eligible EAD (CPT, OPT, H1B, H4-EAD, L2-EAD, etc)

Job Description:

This pivotal role demands a diverse skill set, including cross-functional collaboration, meticulous planning, and the execution of projects crucial to our client's operational success. The junior data analyst will collaborate closely with various departments, leveraging disparate data sources to provide valuable insights. They will play a key role in fostering a data-driven culture within the regulatory affairs sector.

Responsibilities:

• Generate insightful analysis and visualizations suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Aid in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's data infrastructure and reporting environment.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
• Contribute to the enhancement and documentation of organizational data policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Perform external data reconciliation with regulatory affairs databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications and requirements:

• A bachelor's or undergraduate degree is required.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel.
• Ability to develop effective networks with internal and external stakeholders.
• Preferred familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Competence in managing and utilizing large datasets, with an understanding of data processing and analysis workflows.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with programming languages like SQL, R, and Python, particularly in the banking and finance sectors,.
• Strong leadership and planning skills, with the ability to navigate diverse business landscapes.
• Commitment to maximizing the power of diversity and inclusion.
