*Job Title - Oracle Goldengate Techno-Functional Consultant*
Client: Hexaware Healthcare Client
Type- Remote
Rate: $55 to US
Start Date - Immediate / ASAP
*Role Summary* - We are seeking an experienced Oracle Goldengate Techno-Functional Consultant to support an ongoing data replication platform migration from STRIM to Oracle Goldengate. The consultant will play a key role in solution design, migration execution, validation, and post-migration support, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Lead and support the migration from STRIM to Oracle GoldenGate with minimal business disruption
- Design, configure, and implement Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions
- Perform impact analysis, data mapping, and replication strategy planning
- Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot GoldenGate issues related to performance, latency, and data consistency
- Support testing, validation, cutover, and stabilization activities
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly translated into solutions
*Required Skills & Experience*
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Goldengate (Classic and/or Microservices Architecture)
- Proven experience in data replication or CDC tools, preferably including STRIM
- Solid understanding of Oracle databases, SQL, and data architecture
- Experience in migration projects involving replication technologies
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Preferred Qualifications*
- Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (e.g., Life Sciences, BFSI, Healthcare)
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting
- Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI, Azure)
- Oracle GoldenGate certification (nice to have)
