Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with parts selection, processing transactions, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. If you have strong organizational skills, enjoy helping customers, and thrive in a hands-on role, we encourage you to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and handle phone inquiries professionally.
• Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting parts/items with a friendly and knowledgeable approach.
• Provide accurate price quotes and product details in person and over the phone.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately at checkout.
• Manage special orders, notifying customers and relevant team members upon arrival.
• Monitor inventory levels, report out-of-stock items, and restock daily.
• Pull and fulfill orders from existing stock.
• Follow up on back-ordered items to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.
• Some cash handling experience is preferred.
• Availability to work weekends as needed.
• Comfortable standing for long periods during shifts.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective customer interactions.

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires regular standing, walking, hand use, reaching, and communication.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and activities like stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling are also required.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 15 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment has a moderate noise level.
