About the role
As a Policy & Sustainability Stakeholder Analyst at SkyNRG, each day brings dynamic opportunities to shape the future of sustainable aviation. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to influence federal and state-level policies.
You will actively track and contribute to the development of our federal and state-level policy agenda, ensuring it aligns with our stringent environmental and social criteria. Engaging on behalf of SkyNRG in international, federal, and state policy venues, coalitions, and sustainability platforms, you will advocate for policies that promote SAF production and adoption.
Your work will involve preparing documents, briefings, and communications materials for internal and external stakeholders, providing critical insights and recommendations to shape policy consultations.
Collaborating closely with the Policy & Sustainability team, you will support a range of strategic initiatives and act as a key expert on policy and sustainability issues in the US for our team as well as our customers and partners.
Additionally, you will stay at the forefront of the latest policy and sustainability developments within the SAF sector, conducting thorough monitoring and analysis to inform our strategic direction.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across teams at SkyNRG, integrating policy and sustainability priorities into our core business functions and contributing to our overarching corporate goals.

Bachelor’s degree with significant experience (Master’s degree preferred)
2–5 years of working experience related to policy, energy, climate, sustainability, renewables, environment or related fields preferred;
Commitment to SkyNRG’s mission and values, including addressing climate change with innovative solutions;
Commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment;
Capable and interested in creating documents and technical writing skills for communicating the Company’s position in both state and federal policy arenas;
Strong analytical and conceptual skills and comfort with technical topics
Experience processing complex and/or analytical information into simple, digestible formats to share with broader audiences, both in writing and PowerPoint presentations;
Highly effective communicator with great interpersonal skills;
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize time and projects in a remote working environment
Ability to work effectively and efficiently (both virtually and in-person) with minimal supervision required;
Self-starter and able to manage workload without daily management;
Leadership abilities with a strategic and collaborative mindset
