Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Owner to join our team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of products that deliver value to our customers and stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure that our products align with the company’s strategic goals and meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog that reflects the product’s vision and goals. Ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by the development team.
• User Stories: Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly convey the customer’s needs to the development team.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure that the product delivers maximum value to the customer.
• Sprint Planning: Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to plan and execute sprints, ensuring that the team has a clear understanding of what needs to be delivered.
• Product Launch: Coordinate product releases, including beta testing, user feedback, and go-to-market strategies. Ensure successful product launches that meet customer expectations.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Performance Monitoring: Track product performance through key metrics and analytics. Use data to inform decisions and make adjustments to the product roadmap as needed.
• Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to continually refine and improve the product.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Product Management are a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes, Agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
• Customer Focus: A strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, with a user-centric approach to product development.
• Tools: Proficiency in using product management tools like Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).
