Job Description

Pay range is $35-53 an hour plus $5000 sign on bonus


- Deliver Adaptive Radiation Therapy: Provide daily treatment using Elekta Unity MR-Linac, adjusting therapy plans in real-time based on patient anatomy and tumor response.
- Collaborate with Oncology Team: Work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure precise, safe, and effective treatment delivery.
- Perform Imaging & Documentation: Conduct daily imaging, target contouring, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in Quality Initiatives: Engage in quality assurance procedures, workflow improvements, and department innovation related to adaptive therapy.
- Support Training: Assist in onboarding and training of new team members and students in adaptive therapy techniques.
- Maintain Safe Environment: Ensure a clean, safe, and patient-focused treatment area, adhering to all required safety protocols.
- Utilize Advanced Technology: Operate various Elekta & Varian treatment machines, including Versa HD, Harmony, Gamma Knife, Unity (adaptive MRI), and associated applications (Hexapod, Vision RT).
- Use Mosaiq System: Record and verify treatments using Mosaiq software.
- Professional Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
- ARRT certified or eligible (RT(T)); Louisiana licensure required.
- CPR certified.
- Computer skills; experience with Elekta Unity or image-guided/adaptive therapy preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical judgment skills.
