Facility: Broadway Hospital Location: Fargo, ND Address: 801 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00 Department Details The Interventional Radiology Department is located at both the Broadway Hospital and SMCF and is a medical sub-specialty of radiology utilizing minimally-invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases in nearly every organ system. Interventional radiology diagnoses and treats patients using the least invasive techniques currently available to minimize risk to the patient and improve health outcomes. Patient populations include: angiograms (venous, arterial, renal, cerebral), embolization, gastric tube care, Permcath care, fistulgrams, para/thoracentesis, TIPS, IVC filters, aortograms, vertebroplasty, venograms, ELVS/phlebectomy procedure, nephrostogram, esophogram, abscessogram, biopsies and injections. Schedule: 8 or 10 hour shifts primarily Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-5:00pm Call Rotation: About 3-4 weeknights/month and every 6th-8th weekend. Responsibilities Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
