Position Overview
The Safety Director is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all safety regulations, and that employees work in a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct safety audits and inspections
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify their root causes
• Train employees on safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain records of safety training and incidents
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field
• 5+ years of experience working as a Safety Director, Director of Safety, or in a similar role
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems
• Experience with construction safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Nice to have: CSP and NCCER certifications, experience with workers compensation and chemical safety, training experience
