Safety Engineer – Hackberry, LA

Primary Purpose:
KWSearch Services, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a Safety Engineer for their client in Hackberry, LA. The Safety Engineer develops, implements, and oversees health and safety programs while providing safety support across departments. Reporting to the Safety Supervisor, this role ensures compliance with regulations and company policies.  TWIC required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement health and safety programs.
• Deliver safety training as needed.
• Conduct audits and observations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate across departments for a multidisciplinary safety approach.
• Maintain working knowledge of site processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in an industrial setting (3-5 years preferred).
• Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, regulatory knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
