The Duties will include:

• Duties include job start-up safety evaluation, ongoing safety compliance management (including pre-task plan audits/site walk- downs), and job safety close out activities. These duties include the generation and retention of job site/area safety reports and preparation of specific safety documents, as required or

• Create and manage safety toolbox meetings at the job sites as well as perform new hire safety orientations

• Conduct job site hazards analysis and document in the form of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), or Integrated Work Document (IWD)
• Attend all safety-related meetings and serve as the contact for customers, employees, and subcontractor safety issues and concerns.
• Manage site accident/incident/near miss reporting including corrective and preventive action, as required. Lead the incident investigation and conduct a root cause analysis with the involvement of the Area/Corporate EH&S

The Ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of previous construction safety experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
• OSHA 10 or 30, train-the-trainer certificates on confined space, excavation, and fall protection are highly desired
• OSHA 500 is preferred
