Garland Nursery in Corvallis, OR is looking for seasonal garden center sales associates to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.

Job Type: Seasonal

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner
• Provide advice on plant care, gardening products, and landscaping
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor
• Stock shelves, replenish inventory, and assist with inventory management
• Operate the register and process customer transactions accurately
• Answer customer questions and offer recommendations on plants, tools, and products
• Help load and transport plants and products for customers as needed
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the garden center area

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service (preferred)
• Knowledge or interest in gardening and plants
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Team player with a positive attitude
