Job Summary:
The Full-Service Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to guests by offering courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable service. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. A successful server is friendly, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
• Present menus and explain specials, menu items, or promotions
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
• Ensure timely delivery of orders, check for accuracy and presentation
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens
• Perform side work before, during, and after shifts (e.g., restocking, cleaning)
• Process payments and provide accurate change
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
• Comfortable working on feet for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
• Food Handler's or Alcohol Server certification may be required depending on location

• Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests
• Exposure to kitchen, food, and beverage equipment
• May involve loud noise, standing for extended periods, and varied hours
