Salary Range $21.00 - $29.76 / hour The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions. Position Overview Provide safe, efficient and therapeutic patient care for patients who need a sitter while in the hospital, which includes constant observation, while under direction of Licensed Nurse and Medical Staff. Required Sitter, Nurse Tech - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year experience as a Nurse Tech in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Sitter, CNA - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
- One (1) year working as a Nurse Tech in an acute care environment or skilled nursing facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Sitter, Nurse Tech - Bilingual in Spanish
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
