TITLE: Sr. React Developer
CLIENT: Insurance
LOCATION: Houston Texas
TYPE: Contract, 4-6 months with renewal extension after each period. 40 hours per week, full time.
SALARY or RATE: Dependent on Experience
URGENCY: Reviewing resumes to interview as soon as possible
SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Sr. level React Developer to develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.JS and Redux.

DUTIES:

Develop and maintain highly complex web applications using React/Next.js and Redux.
Translate design mockups into responsive web applications.
Migrate from React to Next.js and Develop new portals using Next.js.
Design and maintain efficient Redux design to manage application state, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Ensure clean, performant and maintainable code. Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Install and configure server environments for React deployments.
Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.
Work with other HCL Commerce API developers to design business domain based suitable and secure APIs.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS.
Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens.
Experience with common programming tools such as Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools.
An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD desired.
Insurance and/or Warranty Services domain knowledge is a plus.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field.

NOTE:

Fully remote, must be able to work MT and CT times aligning with the corporate office.
