At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

Under the guidance of the Supervisor, The Team In charge – be responsible for the execution of production, build up and dismantling.

The Supervisor will be responsible for the effective management of workers, production activities, and quality standards to ensure smooth departmental operations. This role involves overseeing manpower planning, resource allocation, inventory management, supplier coordination, and adherence to health and safety standards,

Requirements

Main Accountabilities

Team & Production Management

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the production team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure smooth workflow and optimal productivity within the department.

Manpower Planning

• Plan and allocate adequate manpower for production, buildup, and dismantling activities.
• Coordinate with operations Manager and Production coordinators & manage workforce availability for Project – production build up and dismantling

Supplier Support

• Ensure suppliers meet project-specific and company standards.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of tools, machines, and equipment..

Schedule Adherence & Coordination

• Ensure strict adherence to Production and buildup schedules.
• Coordinate effectively with other departments to streamline project execution.

Production Standards Compliance

• Ensure team members follow standard operating procedures and Standard fabrication methods, use proper equipment (e.g., machines, bits, blades).
• Ensure the right material selection for production to meet quality, durability, and project specifications.
• Provide technical solutions and propose the most efficient and effective production methods to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely project delivery.
• Promote quality in all production activities.
• Ensure production activities are planned and executed within the approved budget while optimizing costs and resource utilization.

Problem Solving

• Apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Guide team members in identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Training & Development

• Identify skill gaps and support the training needs of the team.
• Ensure readiness for current and future fabrication demands.

Process Improvement

• Continuously assess and improve fabrication processes and team performance.

Workplace Organization

• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

10. Health & Safety Compliance

• Enforce health and safety regulations in workshop and site production areas.
• Report and investigate incidents and near-misses.
• Ensure all team members use PPE and follow safe working practices.

Number of years of Experience:

8 years and above Experience as a Sr. team leader or Supervisor

Certification:

Education:

+2 or above

Languages:

Arabic, English and Hindi

Systems:

Basic computer knowledge, Word, Excel

Auto CAD knowledge

Sketch up Knowledge.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Able to understand technical drawings and follow the set standard production methods
• Must have technical knowledge and knowledge of tools and machinery used in carpentry
• Ensuring that the workspace is kept clean and all team tools and team machinery are in condition.

o   Researching and Training the team leaders and Team in charges in new production methods and ensuring that its followed.

o    Manage, develop and direct workers

§  Must approach a problem with a coolly and find efficient solutions

General Obligations towards Health, Safety and Environment   

·        You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company. 

·        You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company. 

·        You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.

·        You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
