Are you a skilled CPA looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic tax and accounting service firm? We are seeking a Tax Accountant with 4-5 years of experience to join our collaborative team. In this role, you'll have the chance to leverage your deep understanding of IRS tax code, especially from a small business perspective, while applying creative thinking to optimize tax strategies for our clients.

Although this position is not client-facing, you'll play a vital role in fostering teamwork and guiding junior accountants, making your contributions crucial to our firm's success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret and apply IRS tax code, with a particular focus on small business tax matters.
- Utilize your expertise in Qualified Business Income (QBI) deductions and tax credits to maximize savings for clients.
- Collaborate with fellow accountants, providing mentorship and support to junior team members.
- Lead internal discussions, address questions, and assist in resolving tax-related challenges.
- Manage tax data and reporting using software tools such as Sage, CCH, and Excel.

Qualifications:

- CPA license with 4-5 years of experience in tax accounting, specifically focusing on small businesses.
- Strong knowledge of IRS tax code, QBI deductions, and available tax credits.
- Proficient in using Sage, CCH, and Excel software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to developing tax strategies.
