Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician who is  interested in community health and working in a rural setting to join our team in Oregon. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing immediate medical care and treatment to patients in an urgent care setting, ensuring they receive high-quality and timely medical attention. 

Schedule: 40 hours/week; 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts/7 days a week. 

Compensation: $277,745

Qualifications: 

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. 
• Active medical license in the state of Oregon (OR). 
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urgent Care or Family Medicine. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and injuries in an urgent care setting. 
• Perform physical examinations and assessments to determine the appropriate course of treatment. 
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, blood work, and EKGs. 
• Prescribe medications and provide referrals to specialists as needed. 
• Administer minor procedures, wound care, and basic suturing when required. 
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. 
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient care.
