Pay Rate : $18.00

What’s a typical day as an Extractor/Wash Technician? You’ll be:
• Inspecting and verifying crabs for injuries and unresponsiveness prior to blood extraction
• Extracting blood from racked crabs using a 12 gauge needle
• Collecting blood into bottles and delivering it to the laboratory
• Performing daily housekeeping responsibilities within the tent area
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting as required

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Entry-level
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Are physically capable of performing tasks that require full range of motion of arms and upper body
• Are comfortable working with sharp objects, caustic chemicals, biohazards, and live animals
• Have good vision abilities and the ability to adjust focus
